Slingshot: Engaged

Above, you can see all of the books that I had to return to the Sydney Jones Library and Special Collections this morning. Also, two sets of printouts of my last two papers of the semester were in the green wallet. After the usual morning bits, I walked to the library to make returns and hand in my papers to Andy. That all went well, and I got to talk to Harmony in the Archives, too.

It feels good to have completed my papers! If my genre definitions paper on steampunk gets accepted to the Cambridge conference, I’ll want to make a few changes to it, but other than that, I’m done, finished, completed, accomplished, executed, sewn up, and polished of a fun and satisfying first semester at the University of Liverpool.

Last night, I watched a Canadian, Red Green inspired, sci-fi movie called Phil the Alien. It’s worth a rental, especially if you enjoy laughing at Canadians ;-)

Well, I’m going to check out the art store on Bold Street now that I’m done with the week’s laundry. I have big plans for the next couple of weeks, and I need to get cracking on them right now!
