I had a great time at the AGES (Association of Graduate English Students, Kent State University) Welcome back Potluck Dinner this past Friday, September 23, 2011. While I am buried in my dissertation, I don’t get to see many friends and professors in the department. Many thanks to the AGES Board Members for organizing this annual tradition. I am an Associate Professor of English at the New York City College of Technology, CUNY whose teaching includes composition and technical communication, and research focuses on science fiction, neuroscience, and digital technology.
