Writing in the Workplace, ENG 2570

Among the major curricular changes approved by the New York City College of Technology, CUNY (City Tech) last year was the the renaming of ENG 3771, Advanced Career Writing to ENG 2570, Writing in the Workplace. The College Catalog describes this class as, “A course in communications skills emphasizing writing used in business and industry, business letters, memoranda, minutes, process papers and reports.”

Since the renaming, I have not taught the class, but I am including my syllabi and assignments from last year under the former course number and title.
