This past weekend, I saw this British police bear sitting outside Green-Wood Cemetery’s 7th Avenue fence. This bobby was certainly a long way from home. Perhaps he had lost his tour group, or he had ventured out on his own. Taking a rest on this portion of the cemetery’s retaining wall below the wrought iron fence was a safe place for him to be. He was gone the next day. I hope that he found his way to where he wanted to go–back home or to a new home with a new friend.
