Black Cat Painting on the Fence Outside a House in Brooklyn

Painting of a black cat in front of a city skyline on a wall outside a house in Brooklyn, New York.

Showing it’s age and signs of revision, this black cat in front of a city skyline adorned the wall between the sidewalk and a house in Brooklyn across from the ConEd substation. The white paint or primer around the cat and covering some of the houses makes me wonder what the cat might be covering. It’s possible that someone gratified or tagged the original artwork and the homeowner did what they could to repair the damage. At the opposite end of the block, Y and I saw two tabby cats looking out a ground floor window at pigeons in the tree across from them.
